PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to support a storage container without an additional auxiliary door by selectively coupling the storage container to the gap between a main body and a door. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator comprises a main body (10), a door (30), a handle (32), a latch device, and a latch switch device. The main body has a storage chamber. The door opens and closes the storage chamber. The handle is installed on the door. The latch device couples a storage container to the door. The latch switch device selectively releases the locked state of the latch device and comprises a motion conversion device. The motion conversion device is rotated when a button is pressed.
