NOVEL PORPHYRAZINE COLORING MATTER, INK, INK SET AND COLORED ARTICLE

Disclosed is a porphyrazine dye in the form of a free acid represented by the formula (1): (1) wherein A, B, C and D independently represent an aromatic 6-membered ring, provided that at least one of them represents a benzene ring and at least one of them has a nitrogenated heteroaromatic ring; E represents an alkylene; X represents a substituted anilino group which has at least one substituent such as a sulfo group, a carboxyl group or a phosphono group; Y represents a hydroxyl group or an amino group; and b represents 0 to 2.9 and c represents 0.1 to 3, provided that the sum total of b and c is 1 to 3. The dye has a good hue for use as a cyanic ink, is excellent in light resistance, ozone resistance and moisture resistance, and does not cause any bronze phenomenon. Therefore, the dye is suitable for ink jet printing.
