PURPOSE: An elevator emergency call apparatus using two wires in an elevator and a method thereof are provided to enhance safety by quickly processing an emergency call. CONSTITUTION: A security office telephone is connected to an emergency call apparatus of an elevator. A disaster prevention office telephone (201) is connected to the emergency call apparatus of the elevator. An emergency external telephone is connected through a main wire if the security office and disaster prevention office telephones do not answer the call for a given amount of time. An elevator emergency call control system (100) generates emergency call data. The elevator emergency call control system transmits an analogue signal to the security office and disaster prevention telephones.
