PURPOSE: A central traffic light using a network and a control method thereof are provided to deliver real time traffic information and to prevent accidents by preventing the eye gaze dispersion of a driver by controlling traffic flow. CONSTITUTION: A corresponding system and a control method includes a traffic information collecting unit (200) collecting traffic information, a control center (300) transceiving the traffic information, a control unit (400) controlling the traffic information, and a central traffic light (100) displaying the traffic information. The system and the method displays the traffic information by collecting the traffic information through the traffic information collecting unit.
