PURPOSE: A work roll testing device is provided to efficiently test the thermal crack resistance of a work roll, thereby performing a performance evaluation with respect to the work roll. CONSTITUTION: A work roll testing device comprises a testing stand(10), a counterpart material(20), a jig(30) of a bar shape, and a motor(40). The testing stand includes a vertical stand(13) vertically inserted into a bottom(11). The counterpart material is installed in the testing stand and is rotated by an external power. One end(31) of the jig is fix-installed in the vertical stand of the testing stand to be rotatable, and the jig is arranged on the counterpart material. A specimen(1) is mounted in a portion contacting to the counterpart material. The motor is installed on the bottom of the testing stand, thereby applying external power to the counterpart material. |
