PURPOSE: A classifying method of a brainwave imagining motion and a device thereof are provided to use support vector machine algorithm and Gaussian mixture model algorithm, thereby increasing classifying accuracy of left side and right side motion imagination electroencephalogram. CONSTITUTION: A preprocessing unit(110) receives and preprocesses measured electroencephalogram. A feature extracting unit(120) extracts a feature of the electroencephalogram. A classifying unit(130) classifies the electroencephalogram into a left side and right side motion imagination electroencephalogram class by using a support vector and support vector machine algorithm. The support vector is obtained by applying the feature extracted from left side and right side motion imagination electroencephalogram to a Gaussian mixture model.
