The yarn winder (10) has multiple winding units (11) comprising winding shafts (31) by which winding bobbins (21) are rotated. Switching devices (12) are arranged between the winding units. Each switching device comprises multiple suction openings (54), which suck in and seize flexible yarns (20) supplied from an upstream side of the winding shaft. The yarns having pre-determined length are wound on the winding bobbin to form a yarn body (22). The yarn body wound on the winding bobbin is removable from the winding shaft and the empty winding bobbin is arranged at the winding shaft. |
