PURPOSE: A method for distinguishing Branchiostegus japonicus and Branchiostegus albus is provided to determine Branchiostegus japonicus and Branchiostegus albus based on mitochondria genome DNA sequence. CONSTITUTION: A method for distinguishing Branchiostegus japonicus and Branchiostegus albus using RFLP analysis comprises: a step of preparing biological sample from Branchiostegus japonicus and Branchiostegus albus; a step of isolating genome DNA of mitochondria from the biological sample; a step of amplifying DNA sequence of sequence number 1 which is a recognition site of Xcml restriction enzyme of cytochrome B gene and amplifying a DNA sequence of sequence number 2; and a step of treating with Xcml restriction enzyme. |
