PURPOSE: A light emitting module and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to precisely control the position of a light emitting device using etching grooves. CONSTITUTION: A conductive layer is formed on a base substrate (51). A light emitting device (59) is mounted on the conductive layer. The conductive layer has multiple etching grooves. The multiple etching grooves define a mounting area of the light emitting device. A lens (61) is mounted on the base substrate.
