PURPOSE: An artificial marble with colorful patterns and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to easily form embossing patterns on the surface of an artificial marble with one of a glass cell casting, a steel mold method, a silicon mold method, and a press method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of an artificial marble with colorful patterns is as follows. A first artificial marble composition is spread on the top of a lower glass. A mold with embossing patterns is attached on the top of the first artificial marble composition. The embossing patterns are attached on the surface of the first artificial marble composition. The upper glass is pressed on the top of the mold to form a first cured artificial marble with the embossing patterns. After the upper and lower glasses and the mold are removed, the first cured artificial marble is arranged on the top of the lower glass. In a state where a second artificial marble composition containing pigment is spread on the first cured artificial marble, the second artificial marble composition is cured by pressing the upper glass. The cured second artificial marble composition is ground to form second artificial marble patterns between the embossing patterns of the first cured artificial marble. |
