PURPOSE: A gas mask is provided to protect the head of a wearer from toxic materials by connecting the edge of an opening on a hood to a rubber face guard and firmly connecting the hood to the rubber face guard. CONSTITUTION: A gas mask comprises: a rubber face guard(10); a buckle; a cover for occipital region(30); a hood(40); a bottom compression strap; a compression strap fastener; and a connector. The rubber face guard is equipped with a filter connection hole connected to a filter, a lens hole on which a lens(Ls) is mounted, an exhaust hole on which an exhaust unit is mounted, and a hook protruded from the rear of the rubber face guard, thereby protecting the face of a mask wearer from toxic materials. The cover for occipital region is equipped with a connecting strap which can be separated from the buckle and is connected to the back of the rubber face guard, surrounding the back of the head of the mask wearer. The hood is equipped with an opening through which the front part of the rubber face guard, with the connection hole, the lens hole and the exhaust hole, is exposed, and the edge of the opening is connected to the edge of the front part of the rubber face guard, covering the head of the mask wearer. |
