<p>PURPOSE: A kaolin block with antibacterial activity is provided to increase intensity, and to decrease the toxicity of cement by adding kaolin, zeolite, cement, a seaweed extract, and a citron extract. CONSTITUTION: A kaolin block comprises 8-16 parts by weight of zeolite, 8-16 parts by weight of cement, and 4-8 parts by weight of seaweed extract, for 100.0 parts by weight of kaolin. The kaolin block additionally includes 2-5 parts by weight of citron extract which is extracted from the peels of citron for 100 parts by weight of kaolin. A kaolin block manufacturing method includes following steps; 8-16 parts by weight of zeolite, 8-16 parts by weight of cement, and 4-8 parts by weight of seaweed extract for 100 parts by weight of kaolin; kneading the mixture after adding eugenol diluted water into the mixture; and vibrate-molding the dough, and molding the dough in a mold before drying the molded product. In the kneading step, the moisture content is adjusted to be 55-65%.</p> |
