<p>PURPOSE: A management system of a railway vehicle component and a method thereof are provided to accurately manage stocks by grasping a warehouse situation with component information. CONSTITUTION: A component container(100) includes a container tag(110) which includes component information. A rack(400) maintains the component container. A conveyor belt(200) carries the component container and includes a first RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting/receiving unit(210) which transmits the component information. A stacker crane(300) carries the component container or carries the component container to the conveyor belt. The stacker crane includes a second RF transmitting/receiving unit(310). An RF system(500) receives component information from the first RF transmitting/receiving unit or the second RF transmitting/receiving unit. A warehouse management system(600) receives the component information from the RF system and monitors the same. The warehouse management system updates the component information and transmits the updated component information to the container tag.
