The device has a gearbox (12) i.e. automatic gearbox, comprising a gearbox casing (16), which is in communication with a transverse input shaft (22) of a transverse reference casing (14) through an oil passage (32). The oil passage is formed in the input shaft or a grooved tubular shaft (24) to connect the gearbox to the transverse casing. The tubular shaft is grooved independent of a differential casing of the gearbox and/or the input shaft. The input shaft is provided with a gearing for transmitting power to a motor at front wheels of a vehicle.
