PURPOSE: A remote control system and a control terminal are provided to facilitate the remote control of a smart phone which displays a video on a TV receiver connected to an MHL cable. CONSTITUTION: A user touches the point P on the touch panel of a touch pad (S1). The main microprocessor of a smart phone receives coordinate information transmitted from the touch pad and determines the touch of the user with respect to a position on the touch panel for corresponding to the coordinate information (S3,S4). The main microprocessor transmits the image as a result of the processing for corresponding to the icon image A1 to a TV receiver (S5,S6). The main microprocessor of the TV receiver displays the video of an E-mail application on a display on the basis of a video signal received from the smart phone (S7).
