Device for preserving a corneal sample, comprises units for receiving and imprisonment of a corneal sample (3), fixed with a unit for creating a pressure gradient with overpressure of an endothelial side and with a unit for circulating a preservation liquid in arrangements that present the reception and imprisonment units. The arrangements presenting the reception and imprisonment units sealingly trap a flange of sclera that surrounds cornea to separately delimit an endothelial chamber and an epithelial chamber in which the liquid circulates with the overpressure in the endothelial chamber.
