<p>The device (20) has a chamber (24) for supplying an oil phase liquid (14), and another chamber (28) for supplying an aqueous phase immiscible liquid (16). Coaxial systems (30) are provided for formation of drops (12), where each system includes a nozzle (54) for injecting the aqueous phase liquid, and a well (56) opening into the latter chamber for receiving an end of the nozzle. Each well is connected to a downstream pipe (58) having an outlet length greater than twice the maximum transverse dimension of an outlet opening of the nozzle received in the well. An independent claim is also included for a method for formation of drops of an internal phase dispersed in an external phase.</p> |
