PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model animal which can successfully reproduce human age-associated graying and is useful for screening of a graying preventive or improver, or the like.SOLUTION: A genetically modified rodential animal develops age-associated graying with suppressed functions of an endothelin receptor B and c-kit. Further, a method for screening a substance effective for prevention or improvement of graying uses the genetically modified animal. Specifically, a genetically modified animal reproducing human graying (age-associated graying), application thereof, or the like are provided. |
