PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil filter apparatus having a simple and inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: An oil filter apparatus (100) comprises an oil inlet (1) and an oil outlet (7), with a suction oil pump being connectable to the oil outlet (7) with which a negative pressure can be produced between the oil inlet (1) and the oil outlet (7), a coarse filter medium (4) and a fine filter medium (3) which are arranged between the oil inlet (1) and the oil outlet (7), with the oil filter apparatus (100) being capable of allowing a distribution amount of oil to pass through the coarse filter medium (3) irrespective of the viscosity of oil passing through the oil inlet (1) and of allowing at the same time the remaining distribution amount to pass through the fine filter medium (3). The entire oil volume flow can thus be purified in a short period of time with high efficiency, and no additional installation space is required outside of a transmission or an engine, a simple and inexpensive configuration is achieved, and the oil filter apparatus can be used in different vehicle models or types of engines without any change and thus without any reduction in the variety of variations. |
