PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large capacity sheet feeder tray where a braking force varies in proportion to a load variation caused by a variation of a sheet load capacity or the like, and a braking load is reduced, and also, a tray bottom plate can be moved downward without performing a secondary operation by a braking force release lever.SOLUTION: When a tray bottom plate 5 is moved upward, a generator 21 is not operated by a one-way clutch provided on a drive shaft 6. When a tray 1 is opened, a driving force is not transmitted from the drive shaft 6, the tray bottom plate 5 falls down by its gravity to rewind a wire 11. Simultaneously, the drive shaft 6 is rotated backward to rotate the generator 21 via an acceleration/decelerating device. A current generated by the generator 21 is supplied to an actuator 22 to operate the actuator 22, and then, the actuator is brought into tight contact with a braking drum provided on the drive shaft 6 to generate a braking force. The tray bottom plate 5 can be moved downward without performing the secondary operation by a braking force release lever, and furthermore, an electrical component can be used when the tray 1 is opened by the self-power generation of the generator 21. |
