PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level-convert both high and low levels to different voltages, reduce a steady state current consumption and shorten a transition time for level transition.SOLUTION: A level conversion circuit includes: a current limit circuit 1 for creating a high flow of current and then a low flow of constant current when a voltage of an input terminal IN transitions from VL1 (=GND) to VH1 (=VDD3), and creating no flow of current when the voltage of the input terminal IN transitions from VH1 to VL1; a Zener diode ZD1 connected between the current limit circuit 1 and a voltage VH2 (=VDD1); a resistance R2 connected in parallel with the Zener diode ZD1; and an inverter INV1 receiving voltages VH2 and VL2 (=VDD1-VDD2) applied as a supply voltage to receive voltage of a node N1 at a common junction of the Zener diode ZD1 and the current limit current 1 and output an inversion. VDD3<VDD2<VDD1 is established. |
