PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system implementing a common use of an image forming apparatus managed by a printer manager through an external printing service by a plurality of general users, while ensuring security.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus 110 provided in a printing system displays a screen operated by a user other than a manager of the image forming apparatus 110, the screen being a common request screen for requesting a common use of the image forming apparatus 110. An external printing service 350 provided in the printing system accepts a request of the common use of the image forming apparatus, the request being performed on the common request screen by the user; and generates a setting screen on which the manager sets whether or not approving the accepted request of the common use of the image forming apparatus 110.
