摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin-film solar cell realizing high power generation performance without using a bulk-hetero structure.SOLUTION: An organic thin-film solar cell 10 comprises: a transparent electrode 14a; a buffer layer 16 provided on an electrode surface of the transparent electrode 14a so as to form a plurality of minute projections; and a first organic thin-film layer 18; a second organic thin-film layer 20; and a metal electrode 14b. The buffer layer 16 is composed of a material having interaction on a material forming the first organic thin-film layer 18. The first organic thin-film layer 18 is laminated on the buffer layer 16 so as to cover the respective peripheries of the plurality of minute projections of the buffer layer 16 to form columnar bodies, in a state in which molecules of the material forming the first organic thin-film layer 18 are inclined and oriented in a direction approaching in parallel to the electrode surface as compared with the case in which the first organic thin-film layer 18 is directly laminated on the electrode surface. The columnar bodies allow the first organic thin-film layer 18 and the second organic thin-film layer 20 to form a boundary surface having a mountain-valley structure.
