PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make setting operation easy and short in time in the case where setting information is set to a portable terminal and to prevent the portable terminal from becoming inoperable due to an input error.SOLUTION: A portable terminal which performs radio communication with an external storage medium is characterized by comprising: a communication unit for performing radio communication with the external storage medium; a detection unit for detecting whether radio communication is possible or not with the external storage medium; an information acquisition unit for acquiring setting information of the portable terminal including identification information for identifying the terminal pre-stored in the external storage medium; an identification information generating unit for generating identification information different from the acquired identification information on the basis of a prescribed criterion from the identification information included in the setting information acquired from the external storage medium by the information acquisition unit; a first storage unit for storing the acquired setting information and the identification information generated by the identification information generating unit; and a setting transmitting unit for transmitting the identification information generated by the identification information generating unit and the setting information stored in the first storage unit to the external storage medium. |
