PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing amino acid-N-carbamate, which requires a small amount of solvent and can produce the amino acid-N-carbamate with good efficiency without depending on a degree of crystallinity of an object.SOLUTION: A method of producing amino acid-N-carbamate includes: a reaction solution-preparing step (1) of preparing a reaction solution by mixing amino acid, an onium salt, a carbonate, water, and an organic solvent, and by reacting the resultant mixture; a first separation step (2) of mixing the obtained reaction solution with an extraction solvent and then separating an organic layer from a water layer; and a second separation step (3) of mixing the obtained organic layer with an alkaline aqueous solution and then separating an organic layer from a water layer. |
