PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater provided with a foam insulation material that can have an excellent insulation effect over a long time.SOLUTION: A storage type water heater includes a hot water storage tank 7 storing hot water heated up by a heating means 2, an exterior case 1 enclosing the hot water storage tank 7, and a plurality of divided foam insulation materials 26 disposed in a space between the hot water storage tank 7 and the exterior case 1 to keep the hot water storage tank 7 warm and to insulate heat. An upper foam insulation material 27 covering a top of the hot water storage tank 7 is not only provided with a pipe insertion part 31 where a pipe is inserted but also provided with a pipe foam insulation material 33 which keeps the pipe coming out of the pipe insertion part 31 warm and insulates heat. Linear beads 32 and 34 are provided on a top end part of the pipe insertion part 31 and around a periphery of the bottom part of the pipe foam insulation material 33. |
