PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid phenol resin having a low molecular weight, and properties excellent as a phenol resin such as heat resistance and curability, and capable of providing molded articles excellent in flexibility.SOLUTION: A liquid phenol resin is obtained by reacting (A) a cashew oil having an oligomer content of ≤1%, (B) phenols, and (C) a secondary and/or tertiary alkylamine compound, wherein preferably (A):(B)=10:90 to 90:10; and the nitrogen content to the whole liquid phenol resin is 3 to 30 wt.%. |
