PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain positional information of a suspicious ship entering territorial waters.SOLUTION: A flying object includes a GPS receiver and a transmitter. In tracking a suspicious ship, the flying object is launched from a patrol boat toward the suspicious ship. The flying object stays above or on the suspicious ship, detects its own position by use of the GPS receiver, and transmits the positional information to the chasing patrol boat. When the suspicious ship sinks into the sea, the flying object releases a rear body part including the GPS receiver and the transmitter from a front body part fixed to the suspicious ship. The rear body part floats on the sea, and transmits its own positional information. |
