PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand drying apparatus which can be used comfortably by any user irrespective of the height of a user, in the hand drying apparatus having a box body into which the hands are inserted, and sending high-speed airflow to the inside of the box body to thereby dry the hands.SOLUTION: A sensor unit 8 for detecting the use of running water and the height of a user, is provided adjacent to a water faucet. A hand drying apparatus 1 determines a moving amount based on information about the height of the user received from the sensor unit 8, and then the hand drying apparatus 1 is moved to a certain position before the user uses the hand drying apparatus. This allows the user to use the hand drying apparatus comfortably irrespective of the height of the user. |
