PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for pumping mud from an infiltration system suitable for infiltrating drainage water such as rainwater into the ground.SOLUTION: An infiltration system 1a has a concrete intermediate floor 3 which is placed between a lower structure 2 where a portion of a concrete peripheral wall 24 has permeability and an upper structure 4 which has an impermeable concrete peripheral wall 43. The intermediate floor 3 has enough strength to enable a worker to step thereon and has an opening section 31 with a size to insert a submerged pump into the lower structure 2. In a method for maintaining the infiltration system, mud accumulated on a bottom of the lower structure 2 is pumped with the submerged pump input through the opening section after removing a mesh member covering the opening section 31. |
