PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an orthodontic appliance capable of more effectively improving occlusion of a patient.SOLUTION: An upper resin plate 6 to be mounted on an inner surface of an upper jaw 1 and a lower resin plate 7 to be mounted on an inner surface of a lower jaw 2 are connected so as to open and close a front side of both resin plates 6 and 7 by a connection member 8 which has a spring property and a roughly U shape in a side view. An upper arched wire 9 to be abutted along an outer surface of an upper dental arch 3 is attached to the upper resin plate 6, and a lower arched wire 10 to be abutted along an outer surface of a lower dental arch 4 is attached to the lower resin plate 7. At least a pair of right and left connection members 8 are provided, and each connection member 8 includes: a plurality of wire bodies 18, each of which has the spring property and the roughly U shape in the side view; and a resin-made outer skin tube 19 covered with and fitted to the wire bodies 18. |
