PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle in which an insulated state between a ground potential and a low voltage circuit and between the ground potential and a high voltage circuit can be precisely detected by one ground fault sensor.SOLUTION: In an electric vehicle 10, when a voltage boost detection part 60 detects that an absolute value |V1-V2| of potential difference between a primary voltage V1 and a secondary voltage V2 of a DC/DC converter 32 is in a first state of being kept below a specified value, a detection permission determining part 62 permits detection of an insulated state of a low voltage circuit 26 or a high voltage circuit 27 with respect to a ground potential by a ground fault sensor 24. Moreover, when the voltage boost detection part 60 detects that |V2-V1| is in a second state of being kept over the specified value, the detection permission determining part 62 prohibits detection of the insulated state by the ground fault sensor 24. |
