The invention relates to an adjustable-length assembly (10) having a tubular outer component (12) with a longitudinal axis (A), and an inner component which is guided displaceably in the outer component (12) along the longitudinal axis (A) thereof, exits from the outer component (12) at an outlet end thereof, and has a connector element at the end (14a) thereof which is arranged outside the outer component (12), and having a further connector element (30) which is arranged at that mounting end (12b) of the outer component (12) which is opposite the outlet end. According to the invention, the further connector element (30) or an intermediate element (40-42) which is connected rigidly to the mounting end (12b) of the outer component (12) has at least one annular shoulder (30a) which extends in the circumferential direction around the longitudinal axis (A) of the outer component (12) over a full 360°, whereas the intermediate element (40-42) which is connected rigidly to the mounting end (12b) of the outer component (12) or the further connector element (30) is assigned at least one engagement element (44) which is in engagement with the annular shoulder (30a) such that it can be displaced slidingly in the circumferential direction (U) but is locked positively in the longitudinal direction (A). |
