The rear axle has two trailing arms that is provided end portions connected with a cross element or sub-frame of car respectively. The trailing arm has two legs that are extended one above the other, and are made of fiber reinforced plastic. The legs are provided in the regions between the end portions of the trailing arm. A clamping piece is provided between the legs and is abut against the cross beam.
