<p>PURPOSE: An ammonia contained liquid processing apparatus is provided to high speed-denitrificate without being influenced by a change of nitrogen form, or a change of each nitrogen component concentration. CONSTITUTION: An ammonia contained liquid processing apparatus comprises: a nitrate reduction bath, and an anaerobic ammonia oxidation bath. The nitrate reduction bath is contained in the ammonia contained liquid, or takes the added organic compound as a hydrogen donor, and sets C/NO_3-N (C=organic carbon concentration of the organic compound) to 0.5-2.5, which reduces the nitric acid to nitrous acid by heterotrophism denitrifying bacteria. In the anaerobic ammonia oxidation bath, the nitrous acid produced in the nitrate reduction bath and the ammonia contained in the ammonia contained liquid are denitrified at the same time by ammonia oxidizing bacteria.
