<p>PURPOSE: An artificial nail manufacturing method is provided to manufacture an artificial nail with different thickness according to a position in which the artificial nail is mounted on a nail, improve the wearing sensation of the artificial nail and maintain the intensity of the leading end of the artificial nail positioned in the free edge of the nail, thereby improving the shape of the nail. CONSTITUTION: An artificial nail manufacturing method manufactures an artificial nail which includes a cuticle end adhered to the cuticle of a nail and a free edge located at the opposite direction of the cuticle end. The manufacturing method comprises following steps. A preparation step (S10) supplies a film which includes a design side formed as a flat shape and a holding surface formed to be bent to the opposing side of the design side. A designing stage (S20) decorates the design side of the film. A main body molding step (S40) comprises a molding process (S44), which forms the film into a three dimensional shape in a forming mold including multiple artificial nail frames formed as a nail shape and a reference plane linked between the artificial nail frames, and a truncated process (S48) which curs the multiple films formed as the nail shapes into each nail shape with a cutter positioned at the upper part of the forming mold.
