The objective is to enable a fluid with a high specific gravity and high viscosity that is stored in one desired tank to be transferred to another tank quickly and with a precise flow rate. The fluid transfer device is equipped with: first and second tanks (13), (14) storing a fluid (1) containing a fine powder; a connecting pipe (15) interconnecting the first and second tanks (13), (14); and a transfer unit (16) capable of transferring the fluid (12) stored in one desired tank to the other tank. Each tank (13), (14) has a first chamber (19) and a second chamber (20) separated by a deformable partition wall (18), with an incompressible fluid (17) stored in each of the first chambers (19) and a fluid having a higher specific gravity and higher viscosity than the incompressible fluid (17) stored in each of the second tanks (20), and these two second chambers (20) being interconnected by the connecting pipe (15). When the incompressible fluid (17) is supplied to the desired first chamber (19), the transfer unit (16) is able to discharge the incompressible fluid (17) from the other first chamber (19).
