PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-wheel motor driving device that can perform oil-lubricating of a planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism from immediately after starting.SOLUTION: An inner-side bearing 35 for supporting one end of a rotor shaft 33 is supported by a boss part 16 which is provided on one sidewall of a casing 10. The boss part 16 comprises an oil reservoir chamber for collection of oil, which is scraped up by a rotor 32 of an electric motor 30, and an oil passage 21 which guides the oil, flowing into the oil reservoir chamber, toward one end surface of the rotor shaft 33. The rotor shaft 33 is provided with an oil supply hole 37. An outer-side bearing for supporting the other end of the rotor shaft 33 is lubricated with the oil which flows through the inside of the oil supply hole 37 and which flows out from the other end surface of the rotor shaft 33. The casing 10 is provided with: a cylindrical part 15 into which an internal gear 43 of a planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 40 is fitted and supported; an oil storage part, in which a lower part of an inner periphery of the internal gear 43 serves as a part of a bottom wall, is formed in the lower part of the inner periphery of the cylindrical part 15; and the planetary gear-type deceleration mechanism 40 is lubricated with the stored oil. |
