PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover opening/closing mechanism and washing machine with the cover opening/closing mechanism which enables a cover to open and close with a plain composition, can attempt to reduce manufacturing cost and to shorten assembling time, and can avoid repairing after shipping.SOLUTION: A end abutment 13e projecting for a rotating unit 131 is provided to a cover open button 13. The rotating unit 131 rotates for a reverse direction to a rotational direction with a press operation to the cover open button 13 by an energization power of a tension spring 140, and the rotating unit 131 presses the end abutment 13e. There is no elastic member between the cover open button 13 and the rotating unit 131, and the cover open button 13 is pressed in reverse direction to the press direction in the press operation. |
