PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure and a connection method between a flat circuit body and a terminal metal fitting capable of simply securing the stabilized electrical connection characteristics without the possibility that a conductor of the flat circuit body is injured by a tensile load acting on the flat circuit body or the like to reduce the electrical connection characteristics and besides without requiring force control or the like which is difficult for crimping work of the terminal metal fitting.SOLUTION: A conductor exposure part 13 having an exposed conductor 11 of a flat circuit body 10 is placed on a bottom plate part 32a in the direction in which the conductor 11 is opposed to the bottom plate part 32a of a terminal metal fitting 30, a protection plate 20 having strength by which clamping claws 32b erected at both side edges of the bottom plate part 32a is not stuck thereto, and the clamping claws 32b are clamped from the top of the protection plate 20, thereby obtaining a crimped state between the conductor 11 and the terminal metal fitting 30 by bringing the conductor 11 into a surface contacting state with the bottom plate part 32a. |
