To provide a sealing film for solar cells, which is capable of reducing the generation of a gas. A sealing film (13A, 13B) for solar cells, which is characterized by containing an organic peroxide and a resin mixture that is composed of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a polyethylene. The sealing film (13A, 13B) for solar cells is also characterized in that the mass ratio of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) to the polyethylene (PE) in the resin mixture, namely (EVA:PE) is from 8:2 to 3:7; the organic peroxide is contained in an amount of 0.1-1.0 part by mass per 100 parts by mass of the resin mixture; and the gel fraction after crosslinking is 20-80% by mass. |
