The invention relates to a method for the electrical contacting of at least one lipid membrane particle, particularly of a biological cell, comprising the steps; - provision of a microstructure device (1) which has at least one carrier substrate (2) having an upper side (3) with at least one microaperture (4), said microaperture having a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the at least one lipid membrane particle to be measured, at least one first compartment (5) arranged below the microaperture, at least one second compartment (7) arranged above the microaperture, at least one first electrode (11) that is arranged in contact with the at least one first compartment, at least one second electrode (12) that is arranged in contact with the at least one second compartment, and at least one electrical control device (15); - provision of at least one first electrolyte (6) in the at least one first compartment; - formation of a lipid membrane (20) on the upper side of the carrier substrate, wherein the lipid membrane spans the at least one microaperture; - provision of at least one second electrolyte (8) in the at least one second compartment; - provision of at least one lipid membrane particle (30) above the at least one microaperture and above the lipid membrane in the at least one second compartment, wherein the lipid membrane particle has a membrane contact section (33) having a first membrane side (34) with which the lipid membrane particle lies against the lipid membrane and is supported by the carrier substrate, and a second membrane side (35) opposite the first membrane side; - generation of an ohmic contact between the at least one first electrolyte and the electrolyte (31) present on the second membrane side of the at least one lipid membrane particle through the generation of at least one voltage pulse between the at least one first and the at least one second electrode by means of the at least one control device. The invention further relates to a microstructure device that can be used for this purpose. |
