<p>The present invention relates to a new process for the production of polyesters through polymerization catalyzed by enzyme of at least one monomer characterized in that it comprises the step of running a mixture comprising said at least one monomer and said enzyme in the form of a thin, turbulent and dynamic layer in contact with a wall kept at a predetermined temperature. The process is conveniently carried out in a turbo-reactor (A) comprising a tubular cylindrical body (1), provided with a heating or cooling jacket (4), closed at the opposite ends by bottoms (3, 4), provided with at least one input opening (5, 6) and at least one output opening (7, 11), and inside which a coaxial bladed rotor (8) is rotably supported, and optionally also in a further turbo-reactor (B) essentially identical to the previous one.</p> |
