PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining device capable of readily acquiring whether laser beam machining on a surface to be machined is possible or not.SOLUTION: The device includes an instructing means consisting of a first visible light source irradiating a print surface Wa (a surface to be machined) with first visible light VL1, and a second visible light source emitting a second visible light VL2 obliquely relative to an axial direction (a Z-axis direction) of an f&thetas; lens so as to intersect with the first visible light VL1. A guide mark Ga indicating a range corresponding to the depth of focus of the laser beam is displayed on the print surface Wa by irradiating the print surface Wa with the first visible light VL1. Second visible light VL2 irradiated positions (display positions of guide points Gb0, Gb1, Gb2) on the print surface Wa change in directions (X-Y axes directions) orthogonal to the Z-axis directions according to the Z-axis position of the print surface Wa. Then, whether the print surface Wa is at a machinable position or not in the Z-axis direction is instructed by the second visible light VL2 irradiated position relative to the guide mark Ga. |
