PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce variation of the optical output level between the wavelengths.SOLUTION: The optical transmitter has a packet demultiplexing unit, an amplifier and a multiplexing unit. The packet demultiplexing unit demultiplexes data into a plurality of optical signals having different wavelengths. The amplifier amplifies each optical signal of the data demultiplexed by the packet demultiplexing unit for each optical wavelength, based on a correction value set for each optical wavelength. The multiplexing unit transmits the data while multiplexing each optical signal amplified individually by the amplifier. |
