PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a tray member from being disengaged from an apparatus body even when a load is applied to the tray member, such as when an article or a hand hits against the tray member.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes: a cover member 20 turnably supported relative to an apparatus body between a use position covering at least a portion of an upper part of the apparatus body (body casing 10) and an open position exposing the upper part of the apparatus body; and a tray member 30 provided so as to extend from a gap between the apparatus body and the cover member 20, for placing thereon a sheet discharged from the apparatus body. The tray member 30 is configured to be attachable to/detachable from the apparatus body when the cover member 20 is in the open position and is configured not to be disengaged from the apparatus body by being regulated by the cover member 20 when the cover member 20 is in the use position. |
