PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a defect resulting from fluctuation of a lens unit.SOLUTION: An optical disk drive 10 executes focusing control for driving a lens unit 3 including an objective lens in a direction perpendicular to a principal plane of an optical disk 9 on the basis of a focus control signal corresponding to vibrations of the optical disk 9. Then, the optical disk drive 10 includes a fluctuation suppression function for extracting an extraction signal being a component of a resonance frequency band of the optical disk 9 of the focus control signal, adjusting the inclination of the lens unit 3 with respect to the principal plane of the optical disk 9 on the basis of the extraction signal, and suppressing the fluctuation of the lens unit 3. Then, since the fluctuation of the lens unit 3 can be suppressed, a defect, such as a read error resulting from the fluctuation of the lens unit 3 can be prevented. |
