PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a learning method of an article storage facility capable of efficiently performing target protruding position learning processing.SOLUTION: In an article storage facility where a control means is configured to control operations of an article transfer means F and an article conveying means so as to perform pick-up processing and unloading processing by protruding an article mounting member 10C on a target protruding position set to each of a plurality of housings S in a state that the article transfer means F is set on the target position set to each of the plurality of housings S, a ranging sensor 35 of a measuring light projection type for measuring a distance in the protruding and retracting direction of the article mounting member 10C is disposed on the article mounting member 10C. As target protruding position learning processing, a learning tool J is sequentially re-attached to each of the plurality of housings S, and a distance to a detected body 37 for ranging disposed in the learning tools J is measured by the ranging sensor 35 in a state that the article mounting member 10C is set at a retracting position. |
