PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing body for a sealed battery which incorporates a PTC element and sufficiently maintains the sealability.SOLUTION: In a lithium primary battery 10, a sealing body 15 is attached to an opening 13 of a positive electrode can 11 by laser welding so as to seal the opening 13. The sealing body 15 includes a sealing plate 31, a resin packing 32, a negative electrode terminal 33, a PTC element 34, a cap member 35, and an insulation ring 36, and those components are integrally formed with the sealing body 15 by resin insert molding. In the sealing body 15, a step portion 47 formed between an outer peripheral end bent in the cap member 35 and a flange part 42 of the negative electrode terminal 33 is embedded in the resin packing 32. |
