PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make luminance unevenness of individual LEDs 12 hardly perceived as bright line unevenness or bright spot unevenness.SOLUTION: A backlight 3 as a lighting device has a plurality of LEDs 12 arranged two-dimensionally on a bottom plate 11a, and emits light in plane in a direction opposed to the bottom plate 11a. The plurality of LEDs 12 arranged on the bottom plate 11a include LEDs 12a, 12b having mutually different light distributions. The LEDs 12a, 12b are mixed in at least either an H direction or a V direction perpendicular to each other in a plane along the bottom plate 11a. |
